Node Classification in Random Trees
We propose a method for the classification of objects that are structured as random trees. Our aim is to model a distribution over the node label assignments in settings where the tree data structure is associated with node attributes (typically high dimensional embeddings).

We introduce a computational workflow that combines quantum chemical calculations and machine learning techniques to predict the catalytic performance of a wide range of catalysts in the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR). The analysis of the trained models provides insights into the complex structure–activity relationship in experimental catalytic ...

A Hybrid Computational Framework for PCF‐based SPR Sensor With Machine Learning and xAI
A photonic crystal fiber‐based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor integrating rectangular air holes along with conventional circular air holes achieves exceptional wavelength sensitivity of 15,000 nm/RIU across a broad refractive index range of 1.31–1.39. Integrated machine learning with explainable AI (xAI) models achieves high prediction accuracy

Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

Fluctuations for the number of records on subtrees of the Continuum Random Tree
We study the asymptotic behavior af the number of cuts $X(T_n)$ needed to isolate the root in a rooted binary random tree $T_n$ with $n$ leaves. We focus on the case of subtrees of the Continuum Random Tree generated by uniform sampling of leaves.

The Future of Research in Cognitive Robotics: Foundation Models or Developmental Cognitive Models?
Research in cognitive robotics founded on principles of developmental psychology and enactive cognitive science would yield what we seek in autonomous robots: the ability to perceive its environment, learn from experience, anticipate the outcome of events, act to pursue goals, and adapt to changing circumstances without resorting to training with ...
