Search for rare and exotic Higgs Boson decay modes

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
The latest results in the search for rare and exotic Higgs boson decays in proton-proton collision events collected with the CMS detector at the LHC are presented. The searches are performed for several decay modes of Higgs boson including H → X(X → 2ℓ)γ

Top-quark decay into ϒ-meson

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2021
The calculation of the partial width of the rare t-quark decay into ϒ-meson, W-boson and b-quark (t→ϒWb) is presented. The branching ratio equals Br(t→ϒWb)=1.3×10−5 that make possible searches for this rare t-quark decay at LHC.

Demonstration of neutrinoless double beta decay searches in gaseous xenon with NEXT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The NEXT experiment aims at the sensitive search of the neutrinoless double beta decay in 136Xe, using high-pressure gas electroluminescent time projection chambers. The NEXT-White detector is the first radiopure demonstrator of this technology, operated

A Review on X-ray Excited Emission Decay Dynamics in Inorganic Scintillator Materials

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
Scintillator materials convert high-energy radiation into photons in the ultraviolet to visible light region for radiation detection. In this review, advances in X-ray emission dynamics of inorganic scintillators are presented, including inorganic ...

Low radioactive material screening and background control for the PandaX-4T experiment

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
PandaX-4T is a ton-scale dark matter direct detection experiment using a dual-phase TPC technique at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. Various ultra-low background technologies have been developed and applied to material screening for PandaX-4T ...

Measurement of the form factors of charged kaon semileptonic decays

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
A measurement of the form factors of charged kaon semileptonic decays is presented, based on 4.4 × 106 K ± → π 0 e ± ν e (K e3 ± ) and 2.3 × 106 K ± → π 0 μ±ν μ (K μ3 ± ) decays collected in 2004 by the NA48/2 experiment.

Investigation of vacuum melting technique for low background titanium

open access: yesHe jishu, 2022
BackgroundThe expected signal rate of rare decay experiments, such as instance dark matter and neutrino less double beta decay experiments, is extremely low, which requires that the detector building materials have extremely low radioactivity.

Top quark decays with flavor violation in the B-LSSM

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
The decays of top quark $$t\rightarrow c\gamma ,\;t\rightarrow cg,\;t\rightarrow cZ,\;t\rightarrow ch$$ t→cγ,t→cg,t→cZ,t→ch are extremely rare processes in the standard model (SM).

Rare radiative exclusive B decays in soft-collinear effective theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We consider rare radiative B decays such as B -> K^* gamma or B -> rho gamma in soft-collinear effective theory, and show that the decay amplitudes are factorized to all orders in alpha_s and at leading order in Lambda/m_b.By employing two-step matching,

The exclusive rare decays B -> K l(bar) l and B_c -> D(D*) l(bar) l in a relativistic quark model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We study the exclusive rare decay B -> K l(bar) l. We calculate the relevant form factors within a relativistic constituent quark model, for the first time without employing the impulse approximation.
