THEORY OF RARE KAON DECAYS [PDF]

open access: yesB Physics and CP Violation, 2000
We review some recent theoretical results on rare kaon decays. Particular attention is devoted to find Standard Model tests. This is theoretically easy in $K\to πν\barν$, while a careful study of the long distance contributions is needed for $K_{L}\to π^{0}e% \bar{e}$, $K_{L}\to μ\barμ$ and $K\to ππγ$

Fully differential NLO predictions for the rare muon decay

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
Using the automation program GoSam, fully differential NLO corrections were obtained for the rare decay of the muon μ→eνν¯ee. This process is an important Standard Model background to searches of the Mu3e Collaboration for lepton-flavor violation, as it ...

Rare kaon decays revisited

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2004
We present an updated discussion of $K\raπ\bar{l} l$ decays in a combined framework of chiral perturbation theory and Large--$N_c$ QCD, which assumes the dominance of a minimal narrow resonance structure in the invariant mass dependence of the $ \bar{l} l$ pair.

Vowel harmony decay in Old Norwegian

open access: yesPapers in Historical Phonology, 2020
Vowel harmony involves the systematic correspondence between vowels in some domain for some phonological feature. Though harmony represents one of the most natural and diachronically robust phonological phenomena that occurs in human language, how and ...

Rare Bs→γνν- Decay in Family Nonuniversal Z′ Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2015
The rare Bs→γνν- decay with polarized photon is studied in the framework of a family nonuniversal Z′ model. The branching ratio and photon polarization asymmetry to the model parameters are calculated and compared with the Standard Model. Deviations from

Rare decays

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1990
Recent theoretical and experimental progress on rare decays is summarized, principally for K and B mesons, as discussed in the parallel sessions of this workshop. 51 refs., 6 figs.

Search for rare and exotic Higgs Boson decay modes

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
The latest results in the search for rare and exotic Higgs boson decays in proton-proton collision events collected with the CMS detector at the LHC are presented. The searches are performed for several decay modes of Higgs boson including H → X(X → 2ℓ)γ

Fiducial cross sections for the lepton-pair-plus-photon decay mode in Higgs production up to NNLO QCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The rare three-body decay of a Higgs boson to a lepton-antilepton pair and a photon is starting to become experimentally accessible at the LHC. We investigate how higher-order QCD corrections to the dominant gluon-fusion production process impact on the ...
