Georeferencing Accuracy Assessment of Pléiades 1A Images Using Rational Function Model [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2013
This paper presents the first experience of georeferencing accuracy analysis of Pléiades 1A mono images. The Pléiades Constellation has been founded by CNES (The Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales – National Centre for Space Studies) consisting of ...

Monotone data modeling using rational functions

open access: yesTURKISH JOURNAL OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & COMPUTER SCIENCES, 2019
Rational schemes for shape preservation of monotone data both in 2D and 3D setups have been developed. $C^1$ rational cubic and partially blended bicubic functions are employed for this purpose. Monotonicity is achieved by extracting constraints on parameters involved in the description of these rational functions.

Towards Sub-Pixel Automatic Geometric Corrections of Very-High Resolution Panchromatic Satellite Data of Urban Areas

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
This paper presents an automatic procedure for the geometric corrections of very-high resolution (VHR) optical panchromatic satellite images. The procedure is composed of three steps: an automatic ground control point (GCP) extraction algorithm that ...

Bias Compensation for Rational Polynomial Coefficients of High-Resolution Satellite Imagery by Local Polynomial Modeling

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2017
The Rational Function Model (RFM) is a widely used generic sensor model for georeferencing satellite images. Owing to inaccurate measurement of satellite orbit and attitude, the Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPCs) provided by image vendors are ...

EVALUATION OF RATIONAL FUNCTION MODEL FOR GEOMETRIC MODELING OF CHANG'E-1 CCD IMAGES [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2012
Rational Function Model (RFM) is a generic geometric model that has been widely used in geometric processing of high-resolution earth-observation satellite images, due to its generality and excellent capability of fitting complex rigorous sensor models.

Frequency response functions for nonlinear rational models [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Control, 1995
A recursive algorithm which maps a general class of nonlinear rational model, defined as the ratio of two polynomial functions, into the frequency domain is derived using the harmonic expansion method. The new algorithm provides, for the first time, a direct analytic map from the time domain rational model parameters to the higher-order frequency ...

Algorithms for Fractional Dynamical Behaviors Modelling Using Non-Singular Rational Kernels

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2023
This paper proposes algorithms to model fractional (dynamical) behaviors using non-singular rational kernels whose interest is first demonstrated on a pure power law function.
