On the Passivity of the Delay-Rational Green’s-Function-Based Model for Transmission Lines
In this paper, we study the delay-rational Green’s-function-based (DeRaG) model for transmission lines. This model is described in terms of impedance representation and it contains a rational and a hyperbolic part.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Endogenous Persistence in an Estimated DSGE Model under Imperfect Information [PDF]
We provide a tool for estimating DSGE models by BayesianMaximum-likelihood methods under very general information assumptions. This framework is applied to a New Keynesian model where we compare the standard approach, that assumes an informational ...

Time-Domain Fractional Behaviour Modelling with Rational Non-Singular Kernels
This paper proposes a solution to model fractional behaviours with a convolution model involving non-singular kernels and without using fractional calculus. The non-singular kernels considered are rational functions of time. The interest of this class of

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. A large-market rational expectations equilibrium model [PDF]
This paper presents a market with asymmetric information where a privately revealing equilibrium obtains in a competitive framework and where incentives to acquire information are preserved. The equilibrium is efficient, and the paradoxes associated with

Rational exchange protocol model based on mixed strategy
In the exchange of micropayment protocol, the cost of ensuring fairness by TTP is higher than the value of protocol, in this case the rational exchange protocol is a appropriate choice.

Rational-function approximation for fluids interacting via piece-wise constant potentials
The structural properties of fluids whose molecules interact via potentials with a hard-core plus n piece-wise constant sections of different widths and heights are derived using a (semi-analytical) rational-function approximation method. The results are

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.
