Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Staggered fermions simulations on GPUs
We present our implementation of the RHMC algorithm for staggered fermions on Graphics Processing Units using the NVIDIA CUDA programming language. While previous studies exclusively deal with the Dirac matrix inversion problem, our code performs the ...

Rationally Designed Dynamic Protein Hydrogels with Reversibly Tunable Mechanical Properties [PDF]
Protein hydrogels have attracted considerable interest due to their potential applications in biomedical engineering. Creating protein hydrogels with dynamic mechanical properties is challenging. Here, the engineering of a novel, rationally designed protein-hydrogel is reported that translates molecular level protein folding-unfolding conformational ...

Targeting Cardiac Stem Cell Senescence to Treat Cardiac Aging and Disease
Adult stem/progenitor are a small population of cells that reside in tissue-specific niches and possess the potential to differentiate in all cell types of the organ in which they operate.

Non-reversibility and self-joinings of higher orders for ergodic flows [PDF]
By studying the weak closure of multidimensional off-diagonal self-joinings we provide a criterion for non-isomorphism of a flow with its inverse, hence the non-reversibility of a flow. This is applied to special flows over rigid automorphisms.

Retroactivity arises when the coupling of a molecular network $\mathcal{U}$ to a downstream network $\mathcal{D}$ results in signal propagation back from $\mathcal{D}$ to $\mathcal{U}$.
