A cone conjecture for log Calabi-Yau surfaces
We consider log Calabi-Yau surfaces $(Y, D)$ with singular boundary. In each deformation type, there is a distinguished surface $(Y_e,D_e)$ such that the mixed Hodge structure on $H_2(Y \setminus D)$ is split.

Birational Morphisms of Rational Surfaces
The author proves, among other things, this theorem: Let \(X\) be a smooth projective rational surface with an effective anticanonical divisor \(-K_X\) and let \(L\) be an nef and big divisor on \(X\) satisfying either \(-K_X.L>0\), or \(-K_X.L=0\) and \(h^1(X,L)>0\).

A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Monads and Bundles on Rational Surfaces
The description of vector bundles as the cohomology of a monad, i.e. a complex of vector bundles \(A\to B\to C\) with the first map injective and the second map surjective, was first used by \textit{G. Horrocks} [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 14, 689--713 (1964; Zbl 0126.16801)] to study bundles on \(\mathbb{P}^n\) and is established especially for the ...

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...
