Computation of symmetries of rational surfaces
<p>In this paper, we provided, first, a general symbolic algorithm for computing the symmetries of a given rational surface, based on the classical differential invariants of surfaces, i.e., Gauss curvature and mean curvature.

Directed evolution of enzymes at the crossroads of tradition and innovation
An iterative cycle of data‐driven enzyme optimization comprising four stages: genetic diversification of a template enzyme, expression of protein variants, high‐throughput evaluation, and machine‐learning‐guided redesign of the next variant library.

Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Strong rational connectedness of surfaces [PDF]
We discuss the strong rational connectedness of smooth rationally connected surfaces. We prove in lots of cases, including the smooth locus of a log del Pezzo surface, the rational connectedness indeed implies the strong rational conectedness. This confirms a conjecture due to Hassett and Tschinkel in \cite{ht08}.

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

A Construction of Rational Seifert Surface in Lens Space
In this note, I give a method to construct rational Seifert surface for those smooth or piece-wise linear oriented knots in Lens space. I assume that the oriented knot has a regular projection on Heegaard torus and then construct rational Seifert surface
