Absorption of Rb-D Limes by Rb Filter Cell
Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1975The effects of absorption of Rb-D lines are studied with the combination of natural Rb lamps and natural Rb filter cells containing nitrogen at the pressures of 100 Tori and 152 Torr. It is found that the hyperfine components of D lines effective for optical pumping is obtained with Rb atoms of natural abundance both for lamps and for cells.

Continuum- and bound-state pair absorption in Cs-Cs, Rb-Rb and Cs-Rb systems
Journal of Physics B: Atomic and Molecular Physics, 1980The absorption spectra of pure Cs and Rb vapours and a mixture of both have been measured in the wavelength region from 2300 to 3100 AA (photoionisation continuum of the atoms) in the temperature range from 410 to 540 degrees C. Pronounced absorption bands can be detected in this wavelength region.

Trends in Biochemical Sciences, 1997The retinoblastoma protein (RB) binds to a variety of cellular proteins and suppresses cellular growth. Such interactions are regulated by phosphorylation during the cell cycle by several cyclin-dependent kinases, known as RB kinases. Clues to the specific physiological roles of different RB kinases have been obtained.
