CeSR + Assisted LDPC: A Holistic Strategy to Improve MLC NAND Flash Reliability

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
NAND flash suffers from program interference and retention errors, which negatively affect its reliability. Existing schemes preprocess raw data before writing them to reduce Raw Bit Error Rate (RBER) and leverage ECCs (such as LDPC codes) to reduce ...

PALES: Optimizing Secure Data Deletion in SSDs via Page Group and Reprogram Speedup

open access: yesChinese Journal of Electronics, Volume 31, Issue 1, Page 40-51, January 2022., 2022
As solid‐state drives (SSD) have been widely adopted, secure data deletion becomes an essential component for ensuring user privacy, preventing sensitive data leakage. Due to the erase‐before‐write property, erasure operation and scrub operation substituting for overwriting technologies are proposed to meet the requirements. However, both methods bring

Minimizing the Number of Detrimental Objects in Multi-Dimensional Graph-Based Codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In order to meet the demands of data-hungry applications, data storage devices are required to be increasingly denser. Various sources of error appear with this increase in density. Multi-dimensional (MD) graph-based codes are capable of mitigating error

The genomic basis of army ant chemosensory adaptations

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 30, Issue 24, Page 6627-6641, December 2021., 2021
Abstract The evolution of mass raiding has allowed army ants to become dominant arthropod predators in the tropics. Although a century of research has led to many discoveries about behavioural, morphological and physiological adaptations in army ants, almost nothing is known about the molecular basis of army ant biology.

Aufbau anorganischer Kronenether durch s‐Block‐Metall‐templatgesteuerte Si‐O‐Bindungsaktivierung

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 133, Issue 18, Page 10481-10490, April 26, 2021., 2021
