Hydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 5, May 2026.The extreme flooding of April 2024 caused a complete “geomorphic reset”, resulting in a 24% widening of the channel and a transition to critical or supercritical flow regimes. The energy of the event broke through the stable armouring layer, reducing the armouring ratio from 7.9 to 4.9 and intensely removing fine sediments from the subsurface.

Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 3, March 2026.In 2D culture, the cirsimarin (i) decreased cell viability in both assays, (ii) induced apoptosis, (iii) reduced clonogenicity, (iv) prevented cell migration, (v) induced DNA damage, and (vi) negatively modulated gene expression. In the 3D model, reductions in spheroid viability, area, and cell migration were also observed.
