A Pilot Project to Evaluate the Benefit of Additional Support in Haematopoietic Cell Transplant (HCT) Research Data Management on Behalf of Anthony Nolan and BSBMTCT [PDF]

open access: yesEJHaem
ABSTRACT Background The participation of transplant centres in research studies that request detailed follow‐up data on included patients can be challenging due to the amount of time centre Data Managers have to complete additional requests. The Research Data Manager (RDM) Pilot Project was designed to support Anthony Nolan's longitudinal Patient/Donor

Unveiling Complementary Unipolar Electrical Transport in ZnO‐Co3O4 Core–Shell Nanowires Exploiting Iontronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Complementary unipolar electrical transport is demonstrated in ZnO‐Co3O4 core–shell nanowires, by engineering multi‐terminal device architectures that allow to selectively address different sections of the nanostructure and resorting on ionic liquid gating for conformal capacitive coupling and field effect control.

The effect of measurements, randomly distributed in time, on quantum systems. Stochastic quantum Zeno effect

open access: yes, 2010
The manifestation of measurements, randomly distributed in time, on the evolution of quantum systems are analyzed in detail. The set of randomly distributed measurements (RDM) is modeled within the renewal theory, in which the distribution is ...

Disrupting J‐Aggregation in Triazatruxene Dimers to Develop Responsive Luminescent Inks for Anti‐Counterfeiting Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 8, March 13, 2025.
This study investigates the stimulus‐responsive behavior of trialkylated triazatruxene dimers for third‐generation luminescent security inks. In particular, the derivative with flexible dodecyl chains displays high‐contrast, reversible color changes upon heating or shear, driven by liquid crystalline phase transitions and involving J ...

Higher‐Level Structural Classification of Pseudomonas Cyclic Lipopeptides through Their Bioactive Conformation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Solution structures of a series of cyclic lipodepsipeptides from Pseudomonas reveal that these specialized metabolites adopt left‐handed alpha helical conformations of only two types, being either ‘stapled’ or ‘catch‐pole’ helix. The particular modular distribution of the biosynthetic gene clusters is found to determine the extent of their conserved ...
