Catalytically Enhanced Near Room‐Temperature Hydrogen Sensing Using Pd‐ZnO Colloidal Crystals
Pd‐decorated ZnO colloidal crystal monolayers demonstrate excellent performance across a wide hydrogen concentration range at 33°C, with high selectivity and reproducible device fabrication. The sensors show strong responses even at low‐ppm H2 concentrations and an ultra‐low detection limit of 82 ppb, indicating their suitability for diverse hydrogen ...

Reactive Power Compensation Using Induction Motor Driven by Nine Switch AC-DC-AC Converter
Induction motors (IM) used for various industrial applications operate with lagging power factor. Electrical distribution agency insists high power factor operation and it gives incentives on operating a system closer to unity.

Performance Analysis of Shunt Reactive Power Compensators
This paper offers comparative solutions for utility companies to solve the problem of voltage flicker in distribution systems. The solutions entail provision of shunt reactive compensation. Two solutions will be explored: the shunt capacitor and the Static VAR Compensator (SVC). Both solutions are modeled and simulated using PSCAD.
