Probabilistic Assessment of the Reactor Vessel Lifetime
A simple and rapid method is proposed for assessing the reduction in the lifetime of steel walls of the reactor vessel under neutron irradiation. The method is based on modeling the number of radiation defects by the behavior of a general time-dependent random process of death and birth and queuing theory.

ABSTRACT Improving cell‐specific productivity remains a central objective in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. In this study, the effect of blue light illumination on IgG1‐producing CHO DP‐12 cells was systematically evaluated across batch, fed‐batch, and perfusion cultivations in controlled 3 L bioreactor systems.

High Cell Density Cultivation of HEK293 Cells Using a 2L Membrane‐Stirred Bioreactor
ABSTRACT The use of perfusion systems for the continuous cultivation of animal cells at high cell density (HCD) for the production of recombinant proteins, viruses, and viral vectors has many advantages. Besides an enhancement of volumetric productivity and high cell viability, the product quality can be improved through a steady‐state environment ...

A ternary CdS/1T‐WS2/CNTs heterojunction is in‐situ constructed via hydrothermal method, which is used for photocatalytic biomass reforming (biomass‐derived alcohols, lignin). It exhibits outstanding performance: H2 production rate of 26.17 mmol/g/h for benzyl alcohol (BA), benzaldehyde (BD) generation rate of 8.29 mmol/g/h, 90.06% BD selectivity, 100%
