On Image Charaterization in Real-Time
Real-Time Imaging, 1996Abstract We present a machine model for the characterization of images that have the property of linear decomposition into strings of pixel-information. In this work characterization of images means recognition and modification of their graphical structures.

A real - time image restoration
Proceedings of the 4th international conference conference on Computer systems and technologies e-Learning - CompSysTech '03, 2003An approach for image enhancement in case of smoothed images with a Known kernel is suggested, it is assumed t'hat the original image could be successfully restored if a correction proportional to the difference between it and the smoothed image is applied. Since the originai image is not known the correct values of the differences at the corresponding

We present a new real-time image marbleization method that converts an image into a marble-like appearance automatically. The approach models the marbleization process as a two-dimensional fluid dynamics problem, whereby color advection of an input image results in a marbleized image.

This paper summarizes the developed real-time algorithm for registering subsequent video frames and experiments performed on an embedded processor. The features extracted from subsequent frames are matched using a RANSAC technique and frames are registered with an affine transformation model.

35th IEEE Applied Imagery and Pattern Recognition Workshop (AIPR'06), 2006
A prototype image processing system has recently been developed which generates, displays and analyzes threedimensional ladar data in real time. It is based upon a suite of novel algorithms that transform raw ladar data into cleaned 3D images. These algorithms perform noise reduction, ground plane identification, detector response deconvolution and ...

Real-time rectilinear volumetric imaging
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, 2002Current real-time volumetric scanners use a 2-D array to scan a pyramidal volume consisting of many sector scans stacked in the elevation direction. This scan format is primarily useful for cardiac imaging to avoid interference from the ribs. However, a real-time rectilinear volumetric scan with a wider field of view close to the transducer could prove

Correction of deformed images in real time
SPIE Proceedings, 2011Optical lens systems generally contain non-linear distortion artifacts that impose important limitations on the direct interpretation of the images. Image processing can be used to correct for these artifacts, but due to the calculation-intensive nature of the required distortion correction process, this is usually performed offline.

Real-Time Ultrasound Imaging Simulation
Real-Time Imaging, 1998This paper presents a commercial real-time ultrasound simulator. An ultrasound volume is constructed from real ultrasound images in an off-line pre-process. Then simulated images are generated by slicing the volume in real-time. Such images can be computed very rapidly, including a post-processing enhancement.
