Driving Cycles for Estimating Vehicle Emission Levels and Energy Consumption
Standard driving cycles (DCs) and real driving emissions (RDE) legislation developed by the European Commission contains significant gaps with regard to quantifying local area vehicle emission levels and fuel consumption (FC).

Building a cycle for Real Driving Emissions
Abstract The EU6d Emission Regulation requires Real Driving Emissions as an additional type approval requirement within the 2017 - 2020 timeframe in order to take into account the influence of the road profile, the ambient conditions and the traffic situation as well as the behavior of the driver.

Transport energy consumption in mountainous roads. A comparative case study for internal combustion engines and electric vehicles in Andorra [PDF]
This paper analyses transport energy consumption of conventional and electric vehicles in mountainous roads. A standard round trip in Andorra has been modelled in order to characterise vehicle dynamics in hilly regions.

Real World Driving: Emissions in Highly Congested Traffic [PDF]
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">The emissions from vehicles in real world driving are of current concern, as they are often higher than on legislated test cycles and this may explain why air quality in cities has not improved in proportion to the reduction in automotive emissions.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Real-driving CO2, NOx and fuel consumption estimation using machine learning approaches
Real driving emissions (RDE) testing are gaining attention for monitoring and regulatory purposes because of providing more realistic emission and fuel consumption measurements compared to laboratory tests. This study aims to develop machine learning (ML)

Resonances in a periodically driven bosonic system
Periodically driven systems are a common topic in modern physics. In optical lattices specifically, driving is at the origin of many interesting phenomena.
