A Reduced-Order RNN Model for Solving Lyapunov Equation Based on Efficient Vectorization Method

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
With the trend of electronization of the power system, a traditional serial numerical algorithm is more and more difficult to adapt to the demand of real-time analysis of the power system.

Bioinspired Adaptive Leg‐Claw Enables Robust Perching and Grasping for UAVs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by owl limb morphology and bat roosting behavior, this study presents a bioinspired adaptive leg‐claw mechanism that enables UAVs to perform robust and versatile perching and grasping. The design integrates a four‐link tibial structure, tension‐driven deformable feet, and active control, enabling stable perching on various branches and ...

Elementarily computable functions over the real numbers andR-sub-recursive functions

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 2005
An algebraic characterization of elementarily computable functions over the real numbers in the sense of recursive analysis is presented in this paper. Main result: For any function \(f\) over the real numbers being 2-times continuously differentiable defined on a product of compact interval with rational endpoints, \(f\) is elementarily computable in ...

NOISE REDUCTION AND INTERPRETATION OF ICE-PENETRATING RADAR DATA IN ANTARCTIC ICE SHEET BASED ON VARIATIONAL MODE DECOMPOSITION [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2019
Ice-penetrating radar is an effective method for studying the subglacial bedrock and ice information within the Antarctic ice sheet. Because of the low conductivity of ice and the relatively uniform composition of ice sheets in the polar region, ice ...

High‐Throughput Data Generation and Transfer Learning Enabled Microstructure‐Property Integrated Design of Nickel‐Based Powder Metallurgy Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated transfer learning framework integrates CALPHAD simulations, diffusion‐multiple experiments, and literature data to predict long‐term microstructural stability and short‐term mechanical properties of Ni‐based powder metallurgy superalloys. Based on these model predictions, a high‐performance, low‐density alloy, USTB‐PM750, is designed from

Near real-time estimation of ionosphere vertical total electron content from GNSS satellites using B-splines in a Kalman filter [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2017
Although the number of terrestrial global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers supported by the International GNSS Service (IGS) is rapidly growing, the worldwide rather inhomogeneously distributed observation sites do not allow the generation

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...

Turning Borel sets into clopen sets effectively

open access: yes, 2012
We present the effective version of the theorem about turning Borel sets in Polish spaces into clopen sets while preserving the Borel structure of the underlying space.

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.

Adaptive Control of Quadrotors in Uncertain Environments

open access: yesEng
The problem addressed in this article consists of the motion control of a quadrotor affected by model disturbances and uncertainties. In order to tackle model uncertainty, adaptive control based on reinforcement learning is used.
