Inadequate research regarding how material characteristics affect vital yield parameters in EDM, particularly for aluminium, brass, and Inconel 617. An limited study has examined how EDM process parameters like peak current (Ip), gap voltage, and pulse ...

A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fuzzy nets framework for part quality prediction and planning [PDF]
In this paper, we present for the first time a general multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) fuzzy fuzzy-nets framework where the output parameters have different sets of inputs parameters and conflicting rules are generated.

Abnormal long wave dispersion phenomena in a slightly compressible elastic plate with non-classical boundary conditions [PDF]
A two parameter asymptotic analysis is employed to investigate some unusual long wave dispersion phenomena in respect of symmetric motion in a nearly incompressible elastic plate.

Tough and Temperature‐Resistant Material Based on Bombyx mori Silk Fibroin
We propose a biomimetic “Hydration‐Crystallization Locking” (HCL) strategy inspired by Bombyx mori spinning to enhance silk fibroin (SF) performance in extreme temperatures. A flexible fibroin membrane (FFM) shows high strength, toughness, and shape retention under −196°C and 70°C.

Accelerated Discovery of Topological Conductors for Nanoscale Interconnects
Copper interconnects exhibit a sharp increase in resistivity at ultra‐scaled dimensions, threatening continued miniaturization of integrated circuits. The gapless surface states of topological semimetals provide conduction channels resistant to localization.

On the WEDM of WNbMoTaZrx (x = 0.5, 1) Refractory High Entropy Alloys
As a potential candidate for the next generation of high-temperature alloys, refractory high entropy alloys (RHEAs) have excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability, especially for high-temperature applications, where the processing of RHEAs ...

ABSTRACT In this paper, we trace the journey to create the Strong Roots for our Futures Program, a government program to resource and support Traditional Owners to undertake a range of activities in areas where no state recognition existed. We provide a background to state recognition in Victoria before considering the program design, leading to an ...

Analysis of the Effects of Water Temperature on Water-Assisted Laser Trepanning in Superalloys
The water-assisted laser trepanning method has been proven to improve the quality of laser drilling; however, the effect of water temperature on this process is currently unclear.

Phenomenology of a Long-Lived LSP with R-Parity Violation
We present the leading experimental constraints on supersymmetric models with R-parity violation (RPV) and a long-lived lightest superpartner (LSP). We consider both the well-motivated dynamical RPV scenario as well as the conventional holomorphic RPV ...
