A comparison of methods for teaching receptive language to toddlers with autism
Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, 2014The use of a simple‐conditional discrimination training procedure, in which stimuli are initially taught in isolation with no other comparison stimuli, is common in early intensive behavioral intervention programs. Researchers have suggested that this procedure may encourage the development of faulty stimulus control during training.

In order to capture an ultrasonic image of high quality using ultrasound having a low sound pressure that does not break a contrast agent, scanning is performed during a pause period of intermittent scanning, using ultrasound that has a sound pressure insufficient to break the contrast agent and has undergone predetermined modulation; pulse compression

A Question of Method: Ibsen’s Reception in Germany
1983‘You know my methods in such cases, Watson.’ Would that we literary sleuths could say the same: the focal issue of this conference and of all such enquiries into international reception remains that of methodology. The comforting confirmation of our expectations achieved by most studies in this field (the Expressionists loved Strindberg, Noh drama ...

Biaxial Excitation and Reception Method Applied to Ultrasound Imaging
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency ControlThe biaxial method consists of the utilization of orthogonal electric fields in single-element piezoceramics both in transmission and reception. This study demonstrates the application of the biaxial method to broadband transducers. We developed a three-element biaxial transducer array to demonstrate the feasibility of biaxial method in imaging ...

Research Methods in Literary Reception Studies
Research Methods in Literary Reception Studies is the first handbook that offers a systematic, hands-on guide to the study of literary reception. It shows how scholars can examine readers’ responses to literature, as well as how texts are evaluated, discussed, rewarded and circulated across social and institutional settings.openaire +1 more source
The Croatian Reception of Hilbert's Axiomatic Method
2017The reception of Hilbert's axiomatic method can be traced in Croatian authors from 1907 to the recent university textbooks. It includes the problems of the axiomatization of geometry and real numbers, as well as the foundational and metatheoretical questions of axiomatic systems. We give a selection of authors and problems.

Evaluation of Adjoint Based Methods for the Prediction of Receptivity
2000This paper explores the use of nonparallel adjoint methods to predict the receptivity of two and three-dimensional boundary layers. Solutions obtained from both adjoint Navier—Stokes (ANS) and adjoint parabolized stability equations (APSE) have been validated against linearized Navier—Stokes (LNS) solutions that provide a full description of the linear
