Abstract Both the murine (Mosley et al. 1989) and human (ldzerda et al. 1990) IL-4 receptors have been molecularly cloned. The murine IL-4 receptor, which was cloned first (Mosley et al. 1989), is produced as an 810-amino-acid precursor with a predicted 25-amino-acid signal peptide (GenBank accession number M27959).
