Reconfigurable Rateless Codes [PDF]
We propose novel reconfigurable rateless codes, that are capable of not only varying the block length but also adaptively modify their encoding strategy by incrementally adjusting their degree distribution according to the prevalent channel conditions without the availability of the channel state information at the transmitter.

Surface-based manipulation with modular foldable robots
Intelligence lies not only in the brain (decision-making processes) but in the body (physical morphology). The morphology of robots can significantly influence how they interact with the physical world, crucial for manipulating objects in real-life ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Neuromorphic Artificial Vision Systems Based on Reconfigurable Ion‐Modulated Memtransistors
Conventional vision systems suffer from lots of data handling between memory and processing units. Inspired by how humans recognize noisy images and the flexible modulation on the timescale of ion dynamics inside an emerging memtransistor, a novel ...

Entropy‐Driven Design of Low‐Melting‐Point Alloys via Compositionally Complex Strategy
Conventional low‐melting‐point alloys (LMPAs) are limited by a narrow compositional space and inherent property trade‐offs. This review presents an entropy‐driven design strategy that overcomes these limitations, ushering in a new class of low‐melting‐point compositionally complex alloys (LMCCAs).
