Lifestyle modification in atrial fibrillation: Mechanisms, phenotypes and ablation outcomes

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent sustained cardiac arrhythmia and is associated with significant morbidity, mortality and healthcare utilization. Catheter ablation is increasingly used as a rhythm‐control intervention for patients with symptomatic paroxysmal and persistent AF, yet recurrence rates remain suboptimal.

Making gas diffusivity explicit in no‐till N2O interpretation

open access: yesAgricultural &Environmental Letters, Volume 11, Issue 2, December 2026.
Abstract No‐till can conserve soil and store carbon, yet its effects on N2O emissions remain inconsistent. Soil gas diffusivity regulates O2 supply, N2O production and reduction, and the N2O/(N2O + N2) product ratio, but this control is not always explicit when no‐till outcomes are interpreted from surface fluxes alone.

SEWB Yarning Cards: Integrating Culturally Grounded Approaches Into Service Delivery—A Practice Approach

open access: yesAustralian and New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy, Volume 47, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper describes the development and early implementation of a culturally grounded practice approach, the SEWB Yarning Cards2021, designed to operationalise cultural frameworks within routine service delivery. Utilising the Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Framework (Gee et al., 2014), the SEWB Yarning Cards aim to bridge ...

Japanese Co‐Sleeping Practices Challenge French Migrant Mothers' Cultural Representations of Childcare

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies, Volume 23, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study explores the perspective of French migrant mothers in Japan toward co‐sleeping. Psychoanalytical theories attest that the pathogenicity of co‐sleeping practices relies on the meanings attributed to its cultural framework. In France, the practice of co‐sleeping is unusual and discouraged for children's well‐being.

The Importance of Considering Personal Recovery for Eating Disorders

open access: yesEuropean Eating Disorders Review, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 1285-1293, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective Definitions of recovery from eating disorders (EDs) have traditionally emphasised symptom reduction and functional restoration. However, growing research highlights the importance of integrating personal recovery, defined by self‐acceptance, autonomy, and psychological wellbeing.
