Heavier Alkyne‐Ni0 Complexes, [R2E2·Ni] (E = Sn, Pb), Exhibiting σ‐Complex Character
Using a reductive group elimination strategy, heavier alkyne (LEEL; E = Sn, Pb) complexes of Ni0 are accessed. In contrast to classical alkyne coordination, these systems are best described as σ‐complexes, driven by ligand‐induced constraints and the established poor π‐bonding in heavier alkyne analogues.

A vapor‐phase molecular toughening strategy is developed for pilot‐scale roll‐to‐roll (R2R) ‐compatible fabrication of flexible perovskite solar modules. Thiol vapor selectively regulates crystallization and anchors at grain boundaries, reducing defects while enhancing mechanical resilience.

Numerical modelling of the aluminium extrusion process when producing complex seactions.
This thesis reports the analysis by FEM of both continuum and structural models describing the extrusion process. They were compared with experimental work and the agreement is satisfactory.

This thesis reports the analysis of extruded products by Forge2009® and EBSD produced by the investigator in the BOAL plant. The 3D FEM module was used to study the required load, the temperature evolution, surface formation of the extrudate and material
