Compact wideband perforated Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015A compact Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna is designed using perforations (symmetrical array of square slots) and edge grounding. The perforations improve impedance bandwidth by lowering down the quality factor. The perforations are selected in such a manner that fundamental TE 111 mode is preserved in the modified perforated structure.

Printed Slot Wideband Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna
2020In this paper, a high performance wideband dielectric resonator antenna is investigated. It is observed that wide bandwidth and multi-band operations can be realized with a hybrid structure by amalgamating wide slot patch antenna and dielectric resonator antenna which are resonating at nearby frequencies.

TLM analysis of rectangular dielectric resonator antennas
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 1995 Digest, 2002The authors report the analysis of aperture-coupled and microstrip proximity-coupled dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs). The TLM numerical method was combined with a linear circuit simulator to determine the input impedance of DRAs for optimum feed dimensions. The numerical results agree well with experimental data.

Gain enhanced omnidirectional rectangular dielectric resonator antenna
2015 IEEE International Conference on Computational Electromagnetics, 2015The omnidirectional rectangular dielectric resonator (DR) antenna (DRA) using its higher-order quasi-TM 015 mode is proposed for the gain enhancement. It was designed, fabricated and measured for 5.8-GHz WLAN applications. Its measured bandwidth and antenna gain of the proposed DRA are 4.84% and 3.63 dBi, respectively.

The dielectric waveguide model has been used for the analysis. Lowest-order modes of the resonator have been identified.

Dimensional analysis of the rectangular dielectric resonator

No.03CH37450), 2004Dimensional analysis is used to study the resonant frequency of the rectangular dielectric resonator (DR). The function is then found by using a curve-fitting technique. The result is accurate for 97 /spl ges/ /spl epsiv/ /sub r2/ /spl ges/10, 1/spl ges/ b/a /spl ges/0.2 and 0.86/spl ges/ d/a /spl ges/0.16, where a, b and c are the dimensions of the DR.
