How to avoid potential pitfalls in recurrence plot based data analysis [PDF]
Recurrence plots and recurrence quantification analysis have become popular in the last two decades. Recurrence based methods have on the one hand a deep foundation in the theory of dynamical systems and are on the other hand powerful tools for the investigation of a variety of problems.

This study explores how sepsis affects GC progression by creating an immunosuppressive environment. Our findings reveal that sepsis promotes immune dysregulation, enhancing tumor growth and metastasis. Targeting the PD‐1/PD‐L1 pathway with monoclonal antibodies shows potential for restoring immune function and improving outcomes in cancer patients ...

On Hyper-Generalized Recurrent Finsler Spaces [PDF]
The aim of the present paper is to investigate new types of recurrence in Finsler geometry, namely, hyper-generalized recurrence and generalized conharmonic recurrence. The properties of such recurrences and their relations to other Finsler recurrences are studied.

On the geometry behind a recurrent relation [PDF]
We consider a certain linear recursive relation with integer parameters and study some of its algebraic and geometric properties, with the purpose of estimating the number of chains of valences in the Farey series.

VASP was found to be overexpressed in metastatic oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tissues. Notably, PTTG1‐ and VASP‐deficient OSCC cells demonstrated suppressed metastatic properties by disrupting the interaction between the cytoskeleton and focal adhesion (FAs) in the filopodia region.

Generating Special Curves for Cubic Polynomials
An algorithmic method is proposed to generate all cubic polynomials with a critical orbit relation. We generate curves (polynomials of parameters) that correspond to those functions with critical orbit relations.

On Quaternion-Gaussian Fibonacci Numbers and Their Properties
We study properties of Gaussian Fibonacci numbers. We start with some basic identities. Thereafter, we focus on properties of the quaternions that accept gaussian Fibonacci numbers as coefficients.

Recurrence Relations for Graph Polynomials on Bi-iterative Families of Graphs [PDF]
We show that any graph polynomial from a wide class of graph polynomials yields a recurrence relation on an infinite class of families of graphs. The recurrence relations we obtain have coefficients which themselves satisfy linear recurrence relations. We give explicit applications to the Tutte polynomial and the independence polynomial.

Recurrence relations for exceptional Hermite polynomials [PDF]
The bispectral anti-isomorphism is applied to differential operators involving elements of the stabilizer ring to produce explicit formulas for all difference operators having any of the Hermite exceptional orthogonal polynomials as eigenfunctions with eigenvalues that are polynomials in $x$.
