YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.

Red-light excitation of protoporphyrin IX fluorescence for subsurface tumor detection.

open access: yesJournal of Neurosurgery, 2017
OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to detect 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA)-induced tumor fluorescence from glioma below the surface of the surgical field by using red-light illumination.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Type Classification of Motorized Vehicles Red Light Running and Their Characteristics Analysis

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
In order to study types of motorized vehicles red light running and their characteristics, the concept of critical distance was introduced, combining with the start and end of red light, to classify motorized vehicles red light running into three ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Salvia miltiorrhiza: A Potential Red Light to the Development of Cardiovascular
Diseases

open access: yesCurrent pharmaceutical design, 2017
Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, also known as Danshen in Chinese, has been widely used to treat cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in China and other Asia countries. Here, we summarize literatures of the historical traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) interpretation

Coherent States in Null-Plane Q.E.D

open access: yes, 1993
Light front field theories are known to have the usual infra-red divergences of the equal time theories, as wellas new `spurious' infra-red divergences.

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Éteindre le Red Light [PDF]

open access: yesUrban History Review, 1989
The Red Light district in Montreal has long been the object of sporadic efforts, if not to eliminate it, at least to control, regulate or limit it to a definite area of the city. Enquiries on the police in 1905, 1909, and 1924 give us information on the official position of the authorities and the activities of pressure groups concerned with ...
