Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.

Sex differences and atrial fibrillation in heart failure with reduced versus preserved ejection fraction [PDF]
Heart failure is a major public health problem. Patients with heart failure often experience dyspnoea, fatigue and/or have peripheral oedema. The prognosis of heart failure remains poor, with a severely impaired quality of life, frequent hospitalizations

The Gut–Heart Axis in Systemic Sclerosis: Evidence From a Large Prospective Early Disease Cohort
Objective Cardiac involvement significantly impacts prognosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc), highlighting the need for early risk stratification. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common and often manifest early. Emerging data suggest a link between GI and cardiac manifestations, possibly through shared mechanisms like dysautonomia.

Mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists in heart failure: a systematic review and meta-analysis
BackgroundMineralocorticoid receptor over-activation drives maladaptive myocardial fibrosis, vascular inflammation and renal sodium retention across the entire spectrum of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF).

Distinct Systemic Sclerosis Phenotypes Related to Ethnicity: An Opportunity to Personalize Care?
Objective The objective is to describe and compare demographic, clinical, and serological characteristics of patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) according to ethnic background. Methods Participants enrolled in the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group cohort who self‐identified to a single ethnicity group were included.

Elevating Expectations: Vericiguat in Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction
Introduction: Heart failure (HF) with reduced ejection fraction (EF) poses high morbidity and mortality. Guidelines Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) is essential, yet many patients experience significant symptoms.

Biomedical research involving US veterans continues to advance health care beyond the Veterans Health Administration. This is particularly true in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), where veteran‐centric research has uncovered novel insights into pathogenesis, risk factors, and disease manifestations, informing clinical care and research across both veteran ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.
