Optimizing radiation and temperature models to estimate reference plant evapotranspiration [PDF]
To estimate potential evapotranspiration, many relationships based on the climatic conditions of different regions have been proposed by researchers, which need to be evaluated and calibrated before applying them to specific locations.

Precise linear measurements using a calibrated reference workpiece without temperature measurements [PDF]
We suggest a procedure for the correction of the errors caused by thermal expansion of a workpiece and the scale of a linear measuring instrument (coordinate measuring machines, length measuring machines, etc.) when linear measurements are performed ...

Research on TMR Current Transducer With Temperature Compensation Based on Reference Magnetic Field
TMR magnetoresistance sensors have advantages such as small size and low power consumption in the field of current measurement, but their sensitivity temperature dependence limits their application in the field of electric energy metering.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

A 1.8-V 4-ppm oC Reference Current with Process and Temperature [PDF]
A current reference generator with a proposed compensation circuit against temperature variation is presented. The current reference generator provides a reference current of 10 uA with temperature coefficient (TC) of 4 ppm/°C under temperature range ...

Temperature Insensitive Current Reference for the 6.27 MHz Oscillator [PDF]
This paper describes a circuit, which generates temperature-independent bias currents. In this paper, low- temperature coefficient reference is presented. The circuit is firstly employed to generate a current reference with temperature compensation, then

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Automated in-situ calibrations at the Curie temperature of ferroelectric materials [PDF]
At industrial process conditions, the reading of thermometers can change or drift over time. To reduce the risk of having such undetected errors in the measurement, thermometers can be recalibrated periodically off-process, which is an elaborate and ...
