The article traces the process that led to the shift of the concept of solidarity from the domain of feelings to political rationality. Going through the genealogy of the term, its polysemy emerges: from the juridical meaning to the sentiment, sense of ...

Study and application of optical properties for nondestructive interior quality inspection of fruit
Nondestructive quality inspection and sorting technique based on fruit optical properties is widely used in post-harvest processing and quality control. The fruit interior quality inspecting systems and their detecting principle were introduced.

The paper contains some minor refinements on the topic of its title mainly of the literature in the 60's [in particular: \textit{S. Feferman}, Fundam. Math. 49, 35-92 (1960; Zbl 0095.243)]. It is not up-to-date because it neglects to specify the data, that is, formal rules, which determine a formal system, and a fortiori neglects to use the notion of ...

Reflection principle and Ocone martingales
Let $M =(M_t)_{t\geq 0}$ be any continuous real-valued stochastic process. We prove that if there exists a sequence $(a_n)_{n\geq 1}$ of real numbers which converges to 0 and such that $M$ satisfies the reflection property at all levels $a_n$ and $2a_n$ with $n\geq 1$, then $M$ is an Ocone local martingale with respect to its natural filtration.

ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness

[18F]Fluorodeprenyl‐D2 PET as a Tool to Monitor Disease Activity in GAD65‐Ab Autoimmune Encephalitis
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate [18F]fluorodeprenyl‐D2 ([18F]F‐DED) positron‐emission tomography (PET) imaging as a biomarker of disease activity in autoimmune encephalitis (AIE) associated with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibodies. Methods [18F]F‐DED PET was performed in 25 GAD65‐AIE patients and 8 controls using dynamic (0–60 min) and ...

On the Reflection of a Spherical Sound Wave from a Finite Size Surface
Room acoustics computer models based on geometrical acoustics usually handle the sound reflections by the assumption of plane waves. However, if the sound source is a point source, which is usually the case, the spherical wave reflection would be more ...
