Wasserstoffaktivierung über Dihydrid‐Bildung an einem Rh1/Fe3O4(001)‐Einzelatomkatalysator

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Anisotropic conductivity rotates heat fluxes in transient regimes

open access: yesOptics Express, 2013
We present a finite element analysis of a diffusion problem involving a coated cylinder enabling the rotation of heat fluxes. The coating consists of a heterogeneous anisotropic conductivity deduced from a geometric transformation in the time dependent heat equation.

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 11, 9 March 2026.

Transient response of the Northwestern Iberian upwelling regime

open access: yesPLOS ONE, 2018
The hydrography and dynamics of NW Iberian margin were explored for July 2009, based on a set of in situ and remote sensing observations. Zonal sections of standard CTD casts, towed CTD (SeaSoar), Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) and Lagrangian surveys were made to characterize cycles of upwelling and relaxation in this region.

Real‐world evidence of tirbanibulin in the treatment of actinic keratosis in Germany – prospective, multicenter, non‐interventional KLIR study

open access: yesJDDG: Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, Volume 24, Issue 2, Page 186-193, February 2026.
Summary Background Tirbanibulin is an approved topical treatment for actinic keratosis (AK). This non‐interventional study investigated effectiveness and safety of tirbanibulin for AK. Patients and Methods The prospective KLIR‐study was conducted at 58 German dermatology centers (02/2022–09/2023).

Sustainability of Transient Kinetic Regimes and Origins of Death [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2016
AbstractIt is generally recognized that a distinguishing feature of life is its peculiar capability to avoid equilibration. The origin of this capability and its evolution along the timeline of abiogenesis is not yet understood. We propose to study an analog of this phenomenon that could emerge in non-biological systems.

On the possibility of using geothermal data for paleoclimate studies in Antarctica: the experience from Portugal [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The study of the climate in the past and the climate change in mainland Portugal using geothermal data has started in 1996. Reconstruction of ground surface temperature (GST) history from temperature logs measured in a 200 m deep borehole located 5 km ...
