Identification of novel small molecule inhibitors of ETS transcription factors
ETS transcription factors play an essential role in tumourigenesis and are indispensable for sprouting angiogenesis, a hallmark of cancer, which fuels tumour expansion and dissemination. Thus, targeting ETS transcription factor function could represent an effective, multifaceted strategy to block tumour growth. The evolutionarily conserved E‐Twenty‐Six

Seismology of Flaring and Dormant Active Regions [PDF]
We study photospheric and sub-photospheric properties of active and quiet regions observed during 11-17 February 2011 including the first X-class flare X2.2 of the solar cycle 24 which occurred in the active region NOAA 11158 on 15 February 2011. The p-mode parameters and sub-photospheric flows are computed from the ring-diagrams and inversions.

Urine is a rich source of biomarkers for cancer detection. Tumor‐derived material is released into the bloodstream and transported to the urine. Urine can easily be collected from individuals, allowing non‐invasive cancer detection. This review discusses the rationale behind urine‐based cancer detection and its potential for cancer diagnostics ...

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Regions, Regionalisms and Identities
Abstract This chapter seeks to interrogate the transformation of regions, in order to tease out the sometimes paradoxical relationship between various approaches to conceptualising space. It aims to connect discussions on different kinds of regions and regionalisms, considering both deinstitutionalisation and institutionalisation processes. The chapter

Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a possibility for different applications in early and late stage breast cancer management. In early breast cancer tumor informed approaches are increasingly used for detecting molecular residual disease (MRD) and early recurrence. In advanced stage, ctDNA provides a possibility for monitoring disease progression and

Region crossing change on surfaces [PDF]
Region crossing change is a local operation on link diagrams. The behavior of region crossing change on $S^2$ is well understood. In this paper, we study the behavior of (modified) region crossing change on higher genus surfaces.

In the extended topical sphere of Regional Science, more scholars are addressing empirical questions using spatial and spatio-temoral data. An emerging challenge is to alert “new arrivals” to existing bodies of knowledge that can inform the ways in which
