Tur\'an type inequalities for regular Coulomb wave functions
Tur\'an, Mitrinovi\'c-Adamovi\'c and Wilker type inequalities are deduced for regular Coulomb wave functions. The proofs are based on a Mittag-Leffler expansion for the regular Coulomb wave function, which may be of independent interest.

CURRENT DEPTH REFRACTION OF REGULAR WAVES
The complete set of equations for the refraction of small surface gravity waves on large-scale currents over a gradually varying sea bed is derived and presented. Wave lengths, direction of propagation and wave heights are all determined along the so-called wave rays as solutions to ordinary, first-order differential equations.

Evaluation of Dynamic Pressure on Compound Perforated Wave Screen under Regular Waves [PDF]
Coasts play an important role in economy of each country for their strategic location for residential, recreational, and industrial activities. Hence, a need has arisen to protect and maintain these coasts against waves and currents. (Rageh et al., 2009).

Mooring Angle Study of a Horizontal Rotor Wave Energy Converter
The horizontal rotor wave energy converter is a newly designed wave energy converter. While the mooring system plays a vital role in keeping the device floating stably, the selection of the mooring angle has immediate effects on the device’s floating ...

Temporal flooding of regular islands by chaotic wave packets
We investigate the time evolution of wave packets in systems with a mixed phase space where regular islands and chaotic motion coexist. For wave packets started in the chaotic sea on average the weight on a quantized torus of the regular island increases

Regularity of rotational travelling water waves [PDF]
Several recent results on the regularity of streamlines beneath a rotational travelling wave, along with the wave profile itself, will be discussed. The survey includes the classical water wave problem in both finite and infinite depth, capillary waves and solitary waves as well.

This paper is concerned with fast and accurate computation of exterior wave equations truncated via exact circular or spherical nonreflecting boundary conditions (NRBCs, which are known to be nonlocal in both time and space).

Landau levels and the Thomas-Fermi structure of rapidly rotating Bose-Einstein condensates
We show that, within mean-field theory, the density profile of a rapidly rotating harmonically trapped Bose-Einstein condensate is of the Thomas-Fermi form as long as the number of vortices is much larger than unity.
