Rehydration characteristics of compressed freeze-dried carrot tissue
The effects of treatments such as pressure, dwell time, storage, moisture addition, temperature of rehydration, cook time, piece size, chemical additives, and irradiation on rehydration rate of freeze-dried carrot slices and bars were studied ...

SDS‐CRISPR for Single‐Nucleotide Variant Detection
Structure‐disruption‐sensitive CRISPR (SDS‐CRISPR) converts structural instability into single‐nucleotide precision, thereby overcoming mismatch tolerance in canonical Cas12a and enabling versatile diagnostics across DNA, RNA, and microRNA targets. When applied to rapid IDH1 mutation detection for glioma genotyping and integrated with lateral‐flow ...

This study identifies a FOSL2‐driven positive feedback loop that amplifies FSH/FSHR signaling. During FSH‐dependent follicle maturation, FSH induces Fosl2 expression via the cAMP‐PKA‐CREB cascade. FOSL2 in turn binds the promoters of Fshr and estrogen‐biosynthesis genes to enhance their transcription, thereby increasing Fshr mRNA level and amplifying ...

This study reveals the dual role of celecoxib in intervertebral disc degeneration. While low concentrations are protective, high concentrations induce toxicity by upregulating HSP90, which synergizes with USP15 to deubiquitinate and stabilize RBX1. This leads to degradation of COMMD1/ATP7B, copper dyshomeostasis, and ultimately, cuproptosis.

Oral Rehydration Solutions in Non-Cholera Diarrhea: A Review
The use of oral rehydration solution (ORS) has revolutionized the management of acute diarrhea. The implementation of the standard World Health Organization ORS (WHO-ORS) has resulted in decreased mortality associated with acute diarrheal illnesses in ...

CK2α Deficiency Drives Myocardial Fibrosis via Desmin‐Induced Mitochondrial Dysfunction
CK2α preserves mitochondrial homeostasis by phosphorylating Desmin to recruit Cryab, ensuring proper filament assembly. CK2α deficiency disrupts this interaction, causing mitochondrial dysfunction, metabolic shifts, bioenergetic failure, and oxidative stress—ultimately establishing a pro‐fibrotic environment that drives cardiac fibrosis.

In renal calcium oxalate stone formation, G6PC downregulation leads to lactate accumulation. This lactate mediates CBP/p300‐dependent lactylation of SNAIL1 at K206, promoting its nuclear translocation. Nuclear SNAIL1 activates the TGF‐β/SMAD3 pathway, driving epithelial‐mesenchymal transition and fibrosis, which ultimately facilitates crystal ...
