Shear strength analysis of concrete beams reinforced with GFRP bars using strut and tie model [PDF]
This dissertation presents an experimental investigation on the behavior and ultimate shear strength of reinforced concrete beam. Sixteen reinforced concrete beams was design and tested to failure. This study consists of two series of beams, which are

Non-linear fire-resistance analysis of reinforced concrete beams [PDF]
The non-linear structural analysis of reinforced concrete beams in fire consists of three separate steps: (i) The estimation of the rise of surrounding air temperature due to fire; (ii) the determination of the distribution of the temperature within the ...

Elucidating the Friction Catalytic Lubrication Mechanism of Ag Nanoparticles Loaded on MOFs
A novel Ag@Co‐BDC nanocomposite lubricating additive is successfully synthesized, which effectively promoted interfacial tribochemical reactions to form a protective tribofilm during friction, resulting in a 16.7% reduction in friction coefficient and a 61.5% decrease in wear rate for base oil.

Gaudí and Reinforced Concrete in Construction
The first two decades of the 20th century witnessed the introduction and expansion of reinforced concrete as a building material in Spain. Few years passed between the introduction of the first patents in the most industrialized areas of the Iberian Peninsula and the subsequent generalization of the technique through scientific knowledge obtained in ...
