PADDY DRYING IN MIXED ADSORPTION DRYER WITH ZEOLITE: DRYING RATE AND TIME ESTIMATION

open access: yesReaktor, 2013
Recently, the main problem of the rice stock and distribution in Indonesia is the quality degradation as indicated in unpleasant odor (smelly), stained, yellowness, and high percentage of broken rice. This is due to the low of paddy quality dried by from

Identification of Humidity Sensing Mechanism in MgAl2O4 by Impedance Spectroscopy as Function of Relative Humidity [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2018
MgAl2O4 is a humidity sensing material, which high melting point requires high sintering temperatures. In this work, manganese oxide was used as a sintering aid to obtain MgAl2O4 samples sintered at 1350°C with a microstructure suitable for humidity ...

Statistical Analysis of the Air-Cooling Process in a Cowshed

open access: yesAgriculture, 2023
During the operation of the cooling system, a large array of temperature and humidity values was obtained inside and outside the cowshed. On the basis of the obtained data set, mathematical models of temperature, humidity and temperature–humidity indices

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Relative Humidity as an Indicator for Cloud Formation over Heterogeneous land surfaces

open access: yes, 2008
The influence of land surface heterogeneity on potential cloud formation is investigated using relative humidity as an indicator. This is done by performing numerical experiments using a large-eddy simulation model (LES).

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Evaluating Calibration Uncertainty and Response Time of RS41 Humidity Sensors Under a Ventilation Speed of 5 m s−1

open access: yesMeteorological Applications
Some commercial radiosondes use heating‐type humidity sensors to prevent condensation and improve response time during soundings. However, the heating process affects the temperature and relative humidity (RH) in the ground facilities where they are ...

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.
