Relative nullity foliations and indefinite isometric immersions [PDF]
This paper investigates the relative nullity distribution of an indefinite Riemannian manifold isometrically immersed into an indefinite space form. This distribution is totally geodesic, and gives rise to a Riccati-type differential equation along a geodesic in a leaf of the distribution.

Cylindricity of complete Euclidean submanifolds with relative nullity [PDF]
We show that a complete Euclidean submanifold with minimal index of relative nullity $ _0>0$ and Ricci curvature with a certain controlled decay must be a $ _0$-cylinder. This is an extension of the classical Hartman cylindricity theorem.

The relative nullity of complex submanifolds and the Gauss map [PDF]
Let \(M\) be a complex complete submanifold of \(\mathbb{C}P^n\) equipped with the Fubini-Studi metric. The index of relative nullity is the minimum \( \mu(M) =\min_{p \in M} \ker\,(\alpha_p)\) of the dimension of the kernel of the second fundamental forms \( \alpha_p\).

A look at the theory of nonexistence of contract on the law of Iran and France [PDF]
The idea of non-existence of a contract has been considered along with the types of void contracts, called absolute and relative void. In recent decades, Iranian-French legal doctrines have been trying to abandon this theory and to theorize only on the ...

Comparative Studying the Effects of Mistake in Contracts in Iranian and French Law [PDF]
Misunderstanding of reality and belief that something is right, wrong or vice versa is called mistake. Understanding the concept of wrong is not possible simply, because the meaning of right and wrong is relative and temporary. However, what as a mistake

The principle of legality is stipulated by article 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code and it is designed to guarantee the primacy of the law in criminal procedure, so that the criminal proceedings are carried out according to the legal provisions.

Marginally trapped surfaces in Lorentzian space forms with positive relative nullity [PDF]
In general relativity, a spatial surface in a 4-dimensional Lorentzian manifold is called marginally trapped if its mean curvature vector is lightlike at each point. In this paper, we completely classify marginally trapped spatial surfaces with positive relative nullity in Lorentzian space forms.

Theoretical and Practical Aspects Regarding the Nulity of Commercial Companies [PDF]
The absence of a Romanian legal definition of the concept of nullity of commercial companies arouses a lot of questions. The delimitation of this concept is very important for a correct establishment of its field of application.

Testing the Nullity of GARCH Coefficients: Correction of the Standard Tests and Relative Efficiency Comparisons [PDF]
This article is concerned with testing the nullity of coefficients in generalized autoregressive conditionally heteroscedastic (GARCH) models. The problem is nonstandard because the quasi-maximum likelihood estimator is subject to positivity constraints.

A marginally trapped surface in a spacetime is a Riemannian surface whose mean curvature vector is lightlike at every point. In this paper we give an up-to-date overview of the differential geometric study of these surfaces in Minkowski, de Sitter, anti ...
