Experimental study on gas-water relative permeability characteristics of broken coal and rock mass

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2023
In order to explore the relative permeability characteristics of gas-water in the crushed coal rock mass around the drilling hole of gas extraction, the gas-water coupling permeation test system of the crushed rock mass was used to carry out the gas ...

Relative Permeabilities of Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Laminated Rock Samples under Hydrostatic and Triaxial Stresses

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences, 2010
Production performance of a hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir is vital and largely controlled by certain reservoir rock and fluids intrinsic properties. Therefore, realistic measurements of reservoir rock properties under simulated in-situ stress-state are ...

Gas transport and separation with ceramic membranes. Part I: Multilayer diffusion and capillary condensation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Multilayer diffusion and capillary condensation of propylene on supported γ-alumina films greatly improved the permeability and selectivity. Multilayer diffusion, occurring at relative pressures of 0.4 to 0.8 strongly increased the permeability of 6 ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

EFFECT OF NON-EQUILIBRIUM RELATIVE PERMEABILITY ON WELL PERFORMANCE

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Нефть и газ, 2018
The article discusses the results of applying the developed software for numerical analysis of the effectiveness of oil well work. We have studied the object which is similar to BV8(1-2) formation of the Samotlor oil field in its geology and geological ...

Three-Phase Relative Permeability [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Technology, 1956
Abstract The results of three-phase relative permeability tests on nine water-wet consolidated Berea sandstone samples are presented as composite ternary diagrams showing isoperms of oil, water and gas. Capillary pressure control was exercised over the flow of gas and oil in the presence of water.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Transport in rough self-affine fractures

open access: yes, 2001
Transport properties of three-dimensional self-affine rough fractures are studied by means of an effective-medium analysis and numerical simulations using the Lattice-Boltzmann method.
