Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Experimental study on variation law of relative permeability curves of polymer flooding
The relative permeability curves of polymer flooding are important bases for the development index predicting the polymer flooding oilfield. Aiming at the low numerical simulation accuracy caused by the lack of the relative permeability of the polymer ...

Two-phase flow model based on 3D pore structure of geomaterials
Geomaterials normally have low pore-connectivity in underground reservoir, and the macro-scale flow simulation normally ignores the micro pore connectivity and uses macro parameters such as permeability and tortuosity to reflect the conductivity of ...

GelMA‐based 3D spheroids recapitulate transcriptomic and functional hallmarks of myeloid sarcoma
GelMA 5% hydrogels support the formation of myeloid leukemia spheroids that recapitulate MS‐specific features, including G1 arrest, apoptosis, and ECM‐driven transcriptomic reprogramming. The 3D model mimicked soft‐tissue‐like stiffness and oxygen conditions, and transcriptomic convergence with primary MS samples confirmed its utility as a preclinical ...

Modeling Relative Permeability-Resistivity Relationships from Seepage Experiment Laws
Relative permeability, as a key parameter characterizing multiphase fluid flow behavior in porous media, holds significant importance across various fields, such as reservoir evaluation and engineering geology. However, measuring relative permeability is
