Circularly polarized laser from three‐dimensional perovskite induced by intramolecular interaction

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Materials with circularly polarized (CP) lasing, featuring optical rotatory power, are attractive for various advanced optical, sensing, biological, and medical applications. However, the trade‐off between coherence and circularity hinders lasing in low‐dimensional perovskites. Herein, we invent a novel strategy to realize three‐dimensional perovskites

Reservoir computing utilizing HfO2‐based ferroelectric neuromorphic devices with WOx nano insertion layers for efficient speech recognition

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Reservoir computing can slash speech‐processing power, but existing bio‐auditory hardware remains inefficient. We demonstrate high‐performance ferroelectric neuromorphic devices based on TiN/WOx/Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 (HZO, 4 nm)/TiN heterostructures for constructing an artificial auditory nervous system for efficient voice recognition.

Physical Aging and Young's Modulus of Polyamide 11 Containing Different Crystal Polymorphs

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
Variation of melt‐crystallization routes and subsequent annealing at elevated temperature allows precise adjustment of Young's modulus of polyamide 11 (PA 11) in a wide range. A major influencing factor is the internal structure of crystals, that is, whether a lower‐modulus mesophase or higher‐modulus crystals are present. Annealing of PA 11 at ambient

Physico‐Chemical Understanding of Plasticizers Interaction with P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) Electroactive Polymer

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
This study explores the effects of DNOP plasticizer on P(VDF‐TrFE‐CFE) terpolymers, revealing a strong synergy between chemical structure and physical properties. High TrFE bringing natural flexibility and CFE enhancing the plasticizer retention through theorized halogen bonds, ultra‐soft, crack‐free films of high permittivity and softness are ...
