On the transmission time of fountain code based parallel relay network
In order to reduce the complexity of transmission protocols and the number of feedback links, fountain code was applied to the multi-stage parallel relay network for open-loop error control. The fountain code based network trans-mission scheme and frame ...

To precisely modulate natural and synthetic regulatory parts, SUPER is introduced as a sophisticated and tunable controller of genetic devices without requiring sequence modification on the target. SUPER enhances dynamic range of RNA‐, chemical‐, temperature‐, and protein‐responsive biosensors up to 1011%, and converts biosensors to cover an expanded ...

Recent Advances in Mediator and Proton Relay Usage in Molecular Catalysis
The use of electron–proton transfer mediators, redox mediators, and proton relays in synergy with molecular catalysts in energy‐related small‐molecule and organic transformations is discussed, with a focus on recent advances. Linear free‐energy relationship and catalytic Tafel plots provide a systematic foundation for benchmarking these catalytic ...

GbWAKL20 Phosphorylates GbNFYB8 to Modulate Verticillium Wilt Resistance in Cotton
Wall‐associated receptor‐like kinases (WAKLs) play pivotal roles in extracellular–intracellular signal transduction. Upon sensing Verticillium dahliae infestation at the plasma membrane, GbWAKL20 accumulates and transmits signals to the nucleus via endoplasmic reticulum‐mediated Golgi vesicle transport.

This article focuses on the phenomenon of relay in translation. Relay is by nature difficult to discuss and therefore it is no surprise that even scholars who know of its existence usually do so only in passing.
