Feasibility and Preliminary Efficacy of Integrative Neuromuscular Training for Childhood Cancer Survivors: A Pilot Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

Reliability-Based Optimization of Impeller Structure Using Exponential Function Approximation

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study proposes a decoupling approach based on first-order exponential function approximation for reliability-based optimization. It establishes an explicit relationship between the failure probability and design parameters within only one ...

Reliability-based Design Optimization of Complex Structures [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The purpose research over the last three decades has focused on the the “optimum” structural mechanics system. The Reliability-Based Design Optimization (RBDO) seeks to find the best compromise between safety and cost levels.

Time-Variant Reliability Optimization for Stress Balance in Press-Pack Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Stress imbalance significantly affects the performance of a press-pack insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). Time-variant loads and conditions lead to the stress fluctuations, exacerbating the impacts.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
