Analytical method of calculation of the current and torque a reluctance stepper motor via Fourier series [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Reluctance stepper motors are becoming to be very attractive transducer to conversion of electric signal to the mechanical position. Due to its simple construction is reluctance machine considered a very reliable machine which not requiring any ...

Steady-state analysis and stability of synchronous reluctance motors considering saturation effects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper investigates the influence of the magnetic saturation on the performance of a Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) at steady-state. In addition, the stability limits for the SynRM are studied using a suggested more accurate method.

Prepubic Tendon Rupture and Uterine Herniation in a Late‐Term Kurdish Mare: A Case Report

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
A 14‐year‐old late‐term Kurdish mare presented with acute ventral distension, cranial displacement of the udder and reluctance to walk. Ultrasonography revealed a viable foetus and complete prepubic tendon rupture, leading to abdominal wall failure and severe ventral oedema.

Vectorial formalism for analysis and design of polyphase synchronous machines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
A vectorial formalism for analysis and design of polyphase synchronous machines without reluctance and saturation effects is described. We prove the equivalence of such a machine with a set of magnetically independent machines, which are electrically and

Nonhuman situational enmeshments—How participants build temporal infrastructures for ChatGPT

open access: yesJournal of Linguistic Anthropology, Volume 36, Issue 1, May 2026.
Abstract This paper investigates how participants recruit Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT as interactional co‐participants depending on their temporal enmeshment within an interactional flow. Using Charles Goodwin's co‐operative action framework, we analyze video data of human–AI interaction to trace the temporal structures established by ...

Identification of a 7-phase claw-pole starter-alternator for a micro-hybrid automotive application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This paper deals with the identification of a new high power starter-alternator system, using both: a Finite Element Method (FEM) modeling and an experimental vector control.

Between Confidence and Clarity: Objective and Subjective Expertise Differentially Predict Use of Alignable and Nonalignable Product Attributes

open access: yesJournal of Behavioral Decision Making, Volume 39, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Expertise is multifaceted. This project builds on the difference between subjective expertise (the confidence one holds in understanding a particular topic) and objective expertise (one's actual understanding of that topic), which can vary independently.

Comparative Analysis of DITC Based Switched Reluctance Motor Using Asymmetric Converter and Four-Level Converter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
High torque ripple is the main draw of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) compared to other conventional motor. Torque ripples can be minimized by Direct Instantaneous Torque Control (DITC) technique.

Accessing New Phenanthroline–Oxazine Scaffolds as Copper‐Dependent DNA Damaging Probes

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 8, April 2026.
New phenanthroline–oxazine ligands derived from natural amino acids are synthesized through an optimized, predictive strategy. When coordinated to copper, these scaffolds display tunable DNA binding, groove selectivity, and oxidative cleavage activity, revealing clear structure activity relationships and expanding the toolbox of copper‐dependent ...

Detection of inter-turn faults in multi-phase ferrite-PM assisted synchronous reluctance machine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Inter-turn winding faults in five-phase ferrite-permanent magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance motors (fPMa-SynRMs) can lead to catastrophic consequences if not detected in a timely manner, since they can quickly progress into more severe short-circuit
