An Integrated Framework for Model-Based Distributed Diagnosis and Prognosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Diagnosis and prognosis are necessary tasks for system reconfiguration and fault-adaptive control in complex systems. Diagnosis consists of detection, isolation and identification of faults, while prognosis consists of prediction of the remaining useful ...

RUL prediction based on a new similarity-instance based approach.

open access: yes, 2014
International audiencePrognostics is a major activity of Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) in many industrial domains where safety, reliability and cost reduction are of high importance. The main objective of prognostics is to provide an estimation of the

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Identifying prognostic indicators for electrical treeing in solid insulation through pulse sequence analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Predictive maintenance attempts to evaluate the condition of equipment and predict the future trend of the equipment's aging, in order to reduce costs when compared to the two traditional approaches: corrective and preventive maintenance. This prediction

Prognostics and Health Management of PEMFC - state of the art and remaining challenges.

open access: yes, 2013
International audienceFuel Cell systems (FC) represent a promising alternative energy source. However, even if this technology is close to being dustrial deployment: FC still must be optimized, particularly by increasing their limited lifespan.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

SiMBA-Augmented Physics-Informed Neural Networks for Industrial Remaining Useful Life Prediction

open access: yesMachines
Remaining useful life (RUL) prediction of industrial equipment is critical for achieving safe operations and optimizing predictive maintenance. To tackle the limitations of poor interpretability, inaccurate predictions, and high computational cost in ...

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Combining a recurrent neural network and a PID controller for prognostic purpose.

open access: yes, 2009
International audienceIn maintenance field, prognostic is recognized as a key feature as the prediction of the remaining useful life of a system allows avoiding inopportune maintenance spending.
