Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Delayed Perfect Monitoring in Repeated Games [PDF]
Delayed perfect monitoring in an in nitely repeated discounted game is studied. A player perfectly observes any other player's action choice with a fixed, but finite delay. The observational delays between different pairs of players are heterogeneous and

A Note on Strategic Stability of Cooperative Solutions for Multistage Games
The problem of strategic stability of cooperative solutions for multistage games is studied. The sufficient conditions related to discount factors are presented, which guarantee the existence of Nash or strong Nash equilibria in such games and therefore ...

A novel thermos‐responsive hydroxypropyl cellulose/graphene oxide (HPC/GO) composite membrane is fabricated for reversible temperature‐gated ion transport in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Enabled by LCST‐driven structural transition, unimpeded ion diffusion at room temperature delivers high capacity, while elevated temperature suppresses transport; full ...

Repeated Games and Networks [PDF]
The chapter provides an overview of recent results on infinitely repeated games in which monitoring and interactions are local. The chapter surveys Folk Theorems for games with local monitoring, and results characterizing optimal punishments in separable local public goods games.

Pressure skin wounds are frequent complications after spinal cord injury (SCI), with impaired healing due to vascular and immune deficits. Elastin‐like polypeptides (ELP) fused to α‐MSH (MSH‐ELP) or MCP‐1 (MCP‐ELP) are developed and tested on these wounds. The resulting nanoparticles are non‐toxic and bioactive, and they enhance macrophage recruitment,

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...

Repeated Games with Present-Biased Preferences [PDF]
We study infinitely repeated games with observable actions, where players have present-biased (so-called beta-delta) preferences. We give a two-step procedure to characterize Strotz-Pollak equilibrium payoffs: compute the continuation payoff set using ...
