الملخص سؤال البحث هل فشل الزرع المتكرر في بعض الحالات له سبب، أم أنه ببساطة فشل العلاج عن طريق الصدفة ؟ التصميم تم بناء نموذج افتراضي لمجموعة من 1000 امرأة يخضعن لأربع محاولات متكررة للتلقيح الصناعي. حملت نسبة من النساء المصابات بالريف عامل خطر كامن يؤثر سلبًا على الزرع، مقارنة بالنساء غير المصابات بالعامل.
