A Robust Bio‐Supportive Hydrogel Patch for Full‐Thickness Repair of Gastroesophageal Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Gastroesophageal defect repair remains a formidable clinical challenge plagued by high leakage and life‐threatening complications. We develop a double‐disc, highly crystalline PVA‐based RBS hydrogel patch featuring suture‐free sealing, robust acid/enzyme resistance and mechanical durability.

Molecular Landscapes of Tumor Dormancy in Gynecologic Malignancies: From Survival Mechanisms to Precision Interception

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This Review outlines the biological framework of entry, maintenance, and awakening in dormant minimal residual disease across gynecologic cancers. By mapping critical biological dependencies—from metabolic plasticity to microenvironment interactions—it evaluates novel interception concepts and presents a translational framework combining single‐cell ...

Repeated Implantation Failure: Clinical Approach

Fertility and Sterility, 2012
Successful embryo implantation depends on a well-functioning endometrium as well as a normal healthy embryo. This process might be hampered if either of these variables is defective. Repeated implantation failure (RIF) is diagnosed when good-quality embryos repeatedly fail to implant after transfer in several IVF treatment cycles.

Repeated implantation failure: a new potential treatment option

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Clinical Investigation, 2015
AbstractBackgroundPrevious studies have shown that the intrauterine administration of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) may improve pregnancy outcome of women with repeated implantation failure (RIF). We have demonstrated that, during implantation, corticotropin‐releasing hormone (CRH) plays a key role in facilitating endometrial ...

Uterine Natural Killer Cells in Peri-Implantation Endometrium From Women With Repeated Implantation Failure After IVF

open access: yesJournal of Reproductive Immunology, 2010
Several studies have suggested that endometrial uNK (CD56+) cells may play a role in implantation. The aim of this study was to investigate the number of CD56+, CD16+ and CD69+ cells in the unstimulated endometrium of women with recurrent implantation ...

Atosiban improves implantation and pregnancy rates in patients with repeated implantation failure

Reproductive BioMedicine Online, 2012
This prospective cohort study examined the effects of atosiban on uterine contraction, implantation rate (IR) and clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) in women undergoing IVF/embryo transfer. The study enrolled 71 women with repeated implantation failure (RIF; no pregnancies from an average of 4.8 previous embryo transfers with a mean of 12 top-quality ...

REPEATED IMPLANTATION FAILURE

Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy, 2015
Repeated Implantation Failure (RIF) is defined as an unsuccessful clinical pregnancy after at least four good quality embryos transferred for at least three cycles of in vitro fertilization with fresh or thawed embryos in women under 40 years of age. RIF may be related to embryo or uterus factors.

Uterine fluid microRNAs in repeated implantation failure

Clinica Chimica Acta
Recurrent implantation failure (RIF) is a significant obstacle in assisted reproductive procedures, primarily because of compromised receptivity. As such, there is a need for a dependable and accurate clinical test to evaluate endometrial receptiveness, particularly during embryo transfer.

The uterine immunological changes may be responsible for repeated implantation failure

Journal of Reproductive Immunology, 2020
A significant part of couples in IVF-ICSI cycles experience Repeated Implantation Failure (RIF). Screening of the embryos with new methods like Next Generation Sequencing and arrays showed that even euploid embryos fail to implant. Immunology is a potent window maybe resolve the RIF problem.

Fertiloscopy improves in vitro fertilization for women with repeated implantation failure

Journal of Gynecology Obstetrics and Human Reproduction, 2017
To assess the effects of fertiloscopy procedure on the outcomes of subsequent in vitro fertilization cycles in patients with repeated implantation failure (RIF).A retrospective study was performed on 50 patients underwent fertiloscopy and 41 controls with RIF. Pelvic and intrauterine pathologies related to infertility, clinical pregnancy rate (CPR) and
