An integrated nanoparticle PEDOT@PMOF is constructed as a redox‐active nanozyme and electroactive nanofiller in a cell‐affinity hydrogel platform for acute MI treatment. It is demonstrated that MOF‐based nanozymes have good catalytic ability, and the incorporation of PEDOT increases the conductivity.

Engineered neutrophil‐derived vesicles (SOD2‐Fer‐1@CVs) co‐delivering antioxidant and ferroptosis‐inhibitory agents enable inflammation‐targeted, ROS‐responsive therapy for ischemia–reperfusion injury in lung transplantation. Synergizing with ex vivo lung perfusion, this strategy alleviates oxidative stress and inflammation, restores vascular integrity,

Population of human ventricular cell models calibrated with in vivo measurements unravels ionic mechanisms of cardiac alternans [PDF]
Cardiac alternansis an important risk factor in cardiac physiology, and is related to the initiation of many pathophysiological conditions. However, the mechanisms underlying the generation of alternans remain unclear. In this study, we used a population

Engineering Bacteria as Living Therapeutics in Cancer Therapy
Through synthetic biology approaches, natural bacteria can be genetically programmed into multifunctional living therapeutics. These engineered bacteria are capable of secreting anti‐tumor factors, displaying tumor‐associated antigens on their surface, or undergoing programmed self‐lysis to release therapeutic cargo.

Potassium channel subunits encoded by the KCNE gene family: physiology and pathophysiology of the MinK-related peptides (MiRPs). [PDF]
Voltage-gated potassium channels provide tightly Controlled, ion-specific pathways across membranes and are key to the normal function of nerves muscles. They arise from the assembly of four pore-forming proteins called alpha-subunits.

Repurposing cardiac glycosides (CGs) significantly strengthens the efficacy of anti‐CD47 antibody for lung cancer treatment by boosting macrophage phagocytosis. This novel combination blocks the “don't eat me” signal and increases dual “eat‐me” signals, Fc‐FcγR and cell surface expression of calreticulin (ecto‐CRT).

Tomenendalova J: How to approach the QT interval in dogs - the state of the heart: a review
The QT interval has been the objective of exhaustive attention in the past and also in recent times. A number of conditions, congenital and acquired, can have a direct effect on cardiac repolarization. Also drug regulatory agencies have showed increasing
