Lattice representation of vector and chiral gauge theories
A lattice derivative is defined as a discrete Fourier transform of momentum on a finite lattice. Species doublers are removed with anti-periodic boundary conditions. U(1) chiral transformation is modified to reproduce chiral anomaly. Chiral gauge theories can be constructed on the lattice using a single Weyl fermion as a building block.

A braided Yang–Baxter algebra in a theory of two coupled lattice quantum KdV: algebraic properties and ABA representations [PDF]
A generalization of the Yang-Baxter algebra is found in quantizing the monodromy matrix of two (m)KdV equations discretized on a space lattice. This braided Yang-Baxter equation still ensures that the transfer matrix generates operators in involution which form the Cartan sub-algebra of the braided quantum group.

A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

The free energy of higher representation sources in lattice gauge theories
Abstract Deconfinement of higher representation sources in SU(2) lattice gauge theory is studied by a Monte Carlo simulation on an 8 3 ×2 lattice. Results for the free energy are compared with expectations from the effective theory of thermal Polyakov loops, and critical exponents for the magnetization of different representations in SU(2) are ...

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

How can representation theories of inverse semigroups and lattices be united?
Let \(X\) be a set and \(\text{Rel}(X)\) the set of all binary relations on \(X\). For \(R\in\text{Rel}(X)\), let us put \(\text{Dom} (R)=\{x\mid \exists y:(x,y)\in R\}\) and define three operations \(\circ\), \({}^{-1}\) and \({\mathcal P}\) on \(X\) by: \(R\circ H= \{(x,y)\mid \exists z:(x,z)\in R\), \((z,y)\in H\}\), \(R^{-1}= \{(x,y)\mid (y,x)\in R\

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
