EBBP‐Mediated Integrated Stress Response Attenuates Anthracycline‐Induced Cardiotoxicity by Inhibiting the Ferroptosis of Cardiomyocytes

EBBP expression is significantly upregulated in DOX‐treated cardiomyocytes. Mechanistically, EBBP interacts with GRP78 to mediate K63‐linked ubiquitination, thereby attenuating the inhibitory GRP78‐PERK interaction and triggering activation of the PERK‐mediated integrated stress response (ISR).

Glucose‐Responsive and Analgesic Gel for Diabetic Subcutaneous Abscess Treatment by Simultaneously Boosting Photodynamic Therapy and Relieving Hypoxia

The work constructs a glucose‐triggered gel for diabetic abscess treatment. The results demonstrate that the gel catalyzes glucose into oxygen, alleviates the hypoxia, and ensures sufficient ROS generation to combat pathogenic bacteria. Loss of STARD7 Triggers Metabolic Reprogramming and Cell Cycle Arrest in Breast Cancer

Breast cancer cells undergo metabolic and transcriptomic reprogramming to support aberrant cell proliferation. Their mitochondria rely on the transfer of phosphatidylcholine from the endoplasmic reticulum to their membranes by STARD7, a candidate upregulated in breast cancer, to be functional.
