A fault self-driven current limiter is proposed in the paper, which uses a special fault current direct-driven electromagnetic repulsion mechanism to realize the first half-wave of the fault current over the zero point into the current-limiting reactance.

Clustering with Repulsive Prototypes [PDF]
Although there is no exact definition for the term cluster, in the 2D case, it is fairly easy for human beings to decide which objects belong together. For machines on the other hand, it is hard to determine which objects form a cluster. Depending on the problem, the success of a clustering algorithm depends on the idea of their creators about what a ...

Trions as Fundamental Species in Chemically Doped Polymer Semiconductors
This work shows that exciton–charge carrier coupling in doped polymer semiconductors gives rise to multi‐particle states, including trions—quasiparticles consisting of two holes and one electron under p‐doping—and bound exciton‐hole pairs, as identified through spectroscopic and theoretical analysis.

A green, external‐catalyst‐free route grows defect‐free covalent organic framework membranes directly on ion‐exchange supports using an alternating electric field and in situ‐generated acid. Through a self‐regulating, self‐healing mechanism, the membranes achieve near‐complete, ultra‐fast separation of monovalent ions such as Li+, Na+, and K+, offering

Soft nuclear density and nuclear repulsion
1043-1051This paper proposes the description of a soft nuclear density and the associated soft nuclear Coulombic repulsion. The idea just consists into describing soft nuclear repulsion expressions substituting the usual point-like nuclear charge ...

In the proposed model, a photoinduced nanoreactor uses Cu2O self‐photooxidation to generate localized supersaturation. A metastable supersaturation state first forms a shell, creating a spatially confined environment that restricts reactant exchange; continued Cu release then drives the local environment toward a labile regime that favors predominantly

Melt electrofibrillation (MEF) enables the fabrication of nanofibrillar PCL scaffolds with defined architectures that guide cellular alignment and retention during cartilage tissue engineering. Unlike conventional melt electrowriting, MEF consistently directs collagen type II‐rich extracellular matrix organization, providing a tunable platform to ...

Topographic mapping: Organising by repulsion and competition?
The establishment of topographic maps of neuronal connections is believed to involve graded repulsion mediated by EphA receptors and ephrin-A ligands. Gene knockouts show that ephrin-A ligands do indeed have a crucial role in mapping, and that mechanisms

Multi‐Li+ Coordination for Superior Room‐Temperature Ionic Conductivity in PEO Solid Electrolytes
A phosphonate‐functionalized polycarboxylate ether (P‐PCE) is introduced into PEO electrolytes to induce multi‐Li+ ions coordination, which effectively dissociates lithium salts, liberates Li+ from the strong chelation by PEO chains, and promotes fast Li+ hopping between adjacent coordination sites. Simultaneously, this design establishes dynamic, high‐
